| Founded fifty years ago by Bernard
Halstead, the initial
growth was fuelled by the success of a basic builders hardware range
of products
designed by the founder, Bernard Halstead. As an engineer and expert
in die-castings, Bernard Halstead had the vision to design a range of
builder’s hardware, window fittings, boat fittings and general
die-castings in keeping with market demands. |

| The company initially introduced Holder Bats and Gutter Brackets. With
the initial acceptance of the bathroom fittings range of products, the
company expanded its engineering department to design an entire range
of die-castings to give its target customers a comprehensive range of
quality die-castings at competitive prices. |
