Company Profile Safal Investments (Mauritius) Limited Safintra is part of the Safal Group of companies who are the largest manufacturer and supplier of metal roofing in Central and Eastern Africa. The group has a galvanising mill in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya and a state of the art Galvalume and colour coating line in Kenya. The company operates extensively in Ethiopia,
Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Zambia, Malawi,

SAFINTRA originally began as a trading company dealing mainly in imports and exports of steel roofing products. The original directors of the organization seized the opportunity to supply roofing components to local and overseas markets and hence opened their first manufacturing concern in Johannesburg in 1994.
SAFINTRA has since ifs inception in 1991
become synonymous with Quality, Service and Integrity in the
construction industry.
With operations in Johannesburg, Durban and
Cape Town, SAFINTRA remains one of the country’s leading
manufacturers and suppliers of steel roofing and
accessories.
All three operations are full manufacturing
concerns able to offer the end user a complete roofing
solution incorporating all required steel roofing profiles
as well as a complete range of flashings, accessories and
rainwater goods.
With the recent opening of its Port Elizabeth operation, Safintra has shown its commitment to the Eastern Cape market and has furthered its vision of servicing the customer in the customers’ area of operation.

The SAFLOK 700 concealed fix profile is able
to manufacture on site by means of a mobile mill thereby
avoiding unnecessary handling, end-lapping and piercing of
sheets. SAFLOK 700 has a unique clipping system which
combines strength and agility to enable the sheet to expand
and contract under normal conditions with no damage to the
material whatever the length.
On-site cranking and bull-nosing facilities are also available. SAFLOK 700 has undergone both local SABS testing and wind tunnel uplift testing in Australia. The results reflect that the system can withstand wind speeds of between 50 and 58 m/s depending on the material utilized.
