Technicrete

Introduction

If you've been involved with the building and infrastructure industry, you'll be more than familiar with the brands Technicrete, Rocla and Ocon. The great news is that these three key players have joined forces and merged into a new and exciting infrastructure group of companies, which is now owned by RMB Ventures, Capitalworks, Pan African Group and senior executives within the companies.

The merger took place at the end of 2013 when Murray & Roberts, previous owners of these brands, adopted a different stance in engineering, mining and construction, and sold Technicrete, Rocla and Ocon. This is how the Infrastructure Specialist Group (ISG) was born.

Technicrete

This well-known leader in manufacturing precast concrete products in South Africa's mining and construction industries began in 1968. With its Head Office in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, Technicrete has factories right across South Africa. Product information,technical guidance and assistance are always readily available from any of Technicrete's establishments, nationwide

Rocla

With over 95 years of rock-solid experience under its belt, South Africa's leading manufacturer of precast concrete products for infrastructure, produces high quality pipes, culverts, manholes, poles and related products at customers' unique requests. Rocla also holds a Head Office in Roodepoort with a rich network of factories across South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.

Oconbrick

When it comes to the manufacturing of high-quality clay bricks, this ground breaker does not go by unnoticed. Having sturdy roots that stem as far back as 1982, Oconbrick's Head Office and factory are being run out of Meyerton in the Vaal Triangle and deliver products throughout South Africa to a varying client base. From key construction and property development companies to smaller builders, Oconbrick is a brand with meaning.
