  Blind is fitted outside the window recess, on the face of the wall.
  It is usually used if your window has burglar bars or to allow for more walk-through height on your door when the blind is in the `pulled-up` position.
  Marginally more expensive as a bigger blind is required than when a reveal fix is done.

  Blind is fitted inside the window recess, giving the neatest finish and is the most popular way of fitting blinds.
- reveal fix with cutout
  Often in bathrooms or kitchens there is tiling halfway up the wall in this case you have to measure the window recess as well as the tiles that are in the way in order to do a cut out for these. The same process is followed for dado rails that protrude into the recess and also in the case of doors where skirting`s at the bottom may end up being in the way of the blind.
